• Prize: $150.00 USD via PayPal
• Deadline: Sunday, April 13th at 11:59 PM ET
• Objective: Design a logo for “Take Democracy Back” (TDB)
• Eligibility & Entry
• Eligibility:
• Open to all U.S. Residents 18 years of age or older.
• Entry Rules:
• No Entry Limit: Submit as many logo designs as you like.
• Separate Submissions: Each design must be submitted separately.
• Individual or Group Submissions: Both individual artists and groups are welcome to submit. (Note: Only one prize per winning logo, even for groups).
• Prohibited Submissions:
• No AI-Generated Art: AI-generated artwork is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification. TDB reserves the right to disqualify submissions suspected of using AI at their discretion without notification.
• Prize & Winner Recognition
• Prize:
• Grand Prize: $150.00 USD awarded to one (1) Grand Prize Winner via PayPal.
• PayPal Account Required: Winner must have an active PayPal account to receive the prize.
• Winner Recognition:
• Artist Credit: The winning artist will be credited for the design (unless anonymity is preferred). Please indicate your preference upon winner notification.
• Anonymity Option: Winners can choose to remain anonymous if preferred.

• Logo Image Specifics:
• Minimum of Two Logo Images Required Per Submission:
• Primary Horizontal Logo:
• Name Inclusion: Must include the full name “Take Democracy Back”.
• File Formats: JPG, SVG or EPS (converted to outlines).
• Color Palette: Optimized for printing, 3 colors or less preferred.
• Square Submark Logo:
• Initials Inclusion: Must include at least the initials “TDB”.
• File Formats: JPG, SVG or EPS (converted to outlines).
• Color Palette: Optimized for printing, 3 colors or less preferred.
• Scalability: Logos should be visually appealing at both small and large sizes (applies to both Horizontal and Square Logos).
• Preferred (Optional) Additions:
• Variants: Color and Monochrome variants of each logo image.
• Variations: Variations of the same logo concept (up to 10 images total per submission).
• Judging & Selection Process
• Judging Criteria:
• Basic Submission Criteria: Meets all mandatory submission requirements (file formats, contact info, etc.).
• Design Guidelines Adherence: Follows all specified design guidelines (name/initials inclusion, color palette, etc.).
• Values Conveyance: Effectively communicates TDB’s values and mission.
• Overall Design Effectiveness: Demonstrates strong and impactful design.
• Artwork Creativity: Exhibits originality and creative design execution.
• Tiebreaker:
• In case of a tie, TDB may conduct public voting. However, the TDB council holds the final decision in all tiebreaker scenarios.
• Terms and Conditions
• Artist Rights & Usage:
• Artist Ownership (Pre-Winning): Artists retain all rights to their submitted artwork unless selected as the winner.
• Rights Transfer (Winning Submission): The winning artist forfeits all rights and ownership of the winning logo to TDB upon prize payout.
• Artwork Modification: TDB reserves the right to modify the winning artwork as needed.
• Disqualification & Forfeiture:
• AI Disqualification: TDB reserves the right to disqualify any submission suspected of using AI, at their discretion and without notification.
• Prize Forfeiture (Response Time): Winners must respond to the winner notification email within 14 calendar days to claim the prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.
• Deadlines & Changes:
• Submission Deadline: Submissions must be received by the specified deadline.
• Deadline Extension: TDB reserves the right to extend the submission deadline at their discretion.
• Contest Updates: Any changes to dates, rules, or voting procedures will be announced through the TDB Discord.
• Payment & Practicalities:
• PayPal Payment: Prize will be awarded exclusively via PayPal. Winner must have a functional PayPal account.
• Watermark Removal: Watermarks must be removed from the final, winning artwork before prize payout.
